Vancouver, BC

Four adjacent yet distinct galleries focus on the events and people – across the many communities of Vancouver – that contributed to the vibrancy of the city.

The Gateway to the Pacific glows with the optimism of the early 1900s, contrasted with the challenges faced by an increasingly multicultural city.

In Boom, Bust, and War, compelling images, quotations and artifacts communicate the restless years of a city caught between two world wars.

The Fifties Gallery is upbeat, featuring bright colors, glowing neon signs and plastic-fantastic modern life.

You Say You Want A Revolution immerses visitors in the political strife of the psychedelic ’60s and ’70s.
