MONOVA has a tremendous opportunity for growth and reinvention, with a new museum space opened in the heart of Lower Lonsdale in 2021.
KEI Space designed exhibits for the new 3,500 square foot permanent gallery, which take visitors on a journey through the North Shore’s amazing natural places, its First Nations and other diverse communities, and its historic and continuing spirit of ingenuity and entrepreneurship.
Doug provided exhibit project management to KEI Space’ collaborative team of museum planners, exhibit developers and writers, and exhibit, graphic, media and lighting designers, under the direction of principal Juan Tanus. Doug’s contribution included:
- Project scheduling
- Exhibit fabrication cost estimating
- Coordination of base building interface with project architects, Urban Arts Architecture
- Workshop facilitation for the Museum, City and consultant team
- Coordination with fabricators 3DS, for design assist services and exhibit production
